"Stop the Bleed" Medical Course

For most of us, medical training is usually looked over. Here at Prepared Citizens we want to have you ready for anything. Massive Hemorrhage (severe bleeding from a main artery) can kill someone in 5 minutes or less. Wouldn't it be nice to have the know-how to help yourself or a loved one that was just injured? The goal of this class is to insure you are an asset to those around you, not a liability. You will learn the skills necessary to stop severe bleeding and manage a tension pneumothorax. Class is 3 hours. 50% lecture/50% hands on. Certificates are awarded upon completion. Gear list: -open mind -pen and paper ***You will get bruises from applying tourniquets correctly.
