Service Description
For most of us, medical training is usually looked over. Here at Prepared Citizens we want to have you ready for anything. Massive Hemorrhage (severe bleeding from a main artery) can kill someone in 5 minutes or less. Wouldn't it be nice to have the know-how to help yourself or a loved one that was just injured? The goal of this class is to insure you are an asset to those around you, not a liability. You will learn the skills necessary to stop severe bleeding and manage a tension pneumothorax. Class is 3 hours. 50% lecture/50% hands on. Certificates are awarded upon completion. Gear list: -open mind -pen and paper ***You will get bruises from applying tourniquets correctly. Just nature of the beast*** ***NO REFUNDS-Do NOT sign up unless you want to train!*** ***Children 10 and up are welcome and must be with parent or guardian***
